Malaria is a tropical disease that kills 750,000 children each year. That's one child every 30 seconds. In Africa, this devastating disease is carried by mosquitoes and spread by a bite.
"Bite Back" is a campaign sponsored by the non-profit organization Compassion International. They are working to fight malaria in Africa by providing mosquito nets to protect poor families from mosquitoes that carry this disease. A donation of $10 will purchase one insecticide-treated bed net, distribute it to someone who needs it and also teach that person how to use the net effectively.
As you do your holiday shopping this year, consider that for only $10, you can help to save a life. You can learn more or donate at http://biteback.net.
